On 8 April 2026, OYTI welcomed representatives from Gebze Technical University alongside Yalova University’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO), academics and regional institutions. The visit opened a dialogue on connecting industrial experience with academic knowledge.
A conversation around production and collaboration
The discussion covered OYTI’s activities, production line and company structure, alongside opportunities to develop university–industry cooperation.
Yalova University was represented by TTO officials Kadir Penbe and Muhammet Çelik. Academics Sabri Uzuner and Gökhan Tımaç also attended, together with representatives from regional industry, technology and development organisations.
Looking towards joint work
According to the university’s report, participants agreed in principle to work towards a cooperation protocol to support coordination and joint activities.
