Adhesives

Water Based Adhesives

Water Based Adhesives are aqueous dispersions based on Polychloroprene Latex (PCR), Polyurethane (PU), Polyvinylacetate and acrylate basis.

Our adhesives guarantee high shear stability and excellent heat resistance and are completed by being free of solvents and have therefore no risk of flammability. Our water based adhesives are serving various areas such as automotive, foam processing, mattress manufacturing and film lamination. Distinctive features of our OYTITACK adhesives are extremely high initial tack and have short up to no airing times. Also OYTIPUR dispersions only need low temperatures to be reactivated.

  • Water based adhesives

    based on PCR

OYTITACK contact adhesives based on PCR are mainly used with pressure receptacles or with our Gravity-Flow systems, with which the adhesive is applied through a free flow system which replaces conventional pressure receptacles. Distinctive features of our OYTITACK adhesives are extremely high initial tack and have short up to no airing times.

  • Water based adhesives

    based on PUR

Our OYTIPUR adhesives are based on PU and guarantee high tensile strength, low reactivation temperatures, excellent moisture resistance and are completed by being free of solvents and have therefore no risk of flammability. OYTIPUR is serving various areas such as automotive, foam processing, mattress manufacturing and film lamination.

Water based adhesives

Our water-based dispersion contact adhesives from the OYTITACK series are based on Polychloroprene (PCR) and provide aggressive initial tack with short to none airing times. Further important characteristics are excellent stress behavious and high heat resistance. OYTITACK is available as one- or two-component systems with optimized spray characteristics which allows to reduce overspray to a minimum.

Water-based adhesives have established themselves in various applications such as mattress manufacturing, the automobile-supplier-industry and the foam processing industry, especially when it comes to the manufacturing of upholstery.

Our “Gravity-Flow System” allows the application of dispersion adhesives without the use of pressure tanks. Just position our bag-in-box packaged adhesives with a minimum application height of 2-2,5 meters above application area and make use of hydrostatic pressure to apply the adhesive. Common spray guns allow new risk-free and cost-conscious application of our water-based contact adhesives from our OYTITACK series.

OYTIPUR Polyurethane (PU) based dispersion adhesives are heat-reactive one- or two-component systems. Its applications reach from use in the production of 3D furniture fronts up to the automotive industry for the inner lining of vehicles, such as headliners, interior door panel lining and others.

Using the spray processing method, the PU adhesive is applied to the carrier part and, after drying, is reactivated under temperatures from as low as 55°C. Reactivation, especially in three-dimensional furniture front manufacturing is usually made under vacuum with the help of membrane presses or thermoforming machines.

Particularly with sensitive materials, such as glazing foils, a low reactivation temperature is of major importance to enable gentle manufacturing processes.
